مقارنة بين تركيا و تونس

و ذلك يوم السبت 3 سبتمبر 2016 بنزل أفريكا - بتونس العاصمة من الساعة العاشرة صباحا إلى الساعة الرابعة مساءا. تتطرق الندوة إلى موضوعين أساسين وهما:

الفكر الإسلامي و العلماني المعاصر

السياسة الخارجية

بمشاركة خبراء و باحثين من تركيا ومن تونس.

هذه الندوة هي فرصة للحوار بين مثقفين من تونس و تركيا حول الثقافة والحضارة في السياسة العالمية بحضور شخصيات وطنية وسياسية وأعضاء مجلس نواب الشعب وممثلين عن المجتمع المدني وإعلاميين. ستكون هناك ترجمة فوريّة بين اللغتين العربيّة و الإنقليزيّة.

المفاهيم

بمبادرة من الأكاديمية البريطانية (BA) ومركز الشرق الأوسط في مدرسة لندن للاقتصاد (LSE), تنعقد هذه الندوة بهدف توفير مساحة يجتمع فيها مفكرون تونسيون واتراك يهتمون بمسائل الثقافة والحضارة في السياسات الدولية المعاصرة.

و إذ يسعى هذا الملتقى الى مسائلة الفهم المتصلب للحضارة والثقافة وما قد يستتبعه من آراء ومدركات حول دورهما في الشؤون الدولية، فانه يتطلع الى تبيين سلاسة وديناميكية علاقتهما بالسياسة، ويهدف في الان ذاته الى المساهمة الجدية والعميقة في النقاشات القائمة حول دور الثقافة والحضارة في الشؤون الدولية ومن ثمة بناء الصلات بين ميداني النظرية والممارسة من جهة وبين عالمي السياسية و البحث الأكاديمي من جهة ثانية.

ولتحقيق هذه الأهداف وتلكم المساهمة، ستعمل الندوة على سبر الأفكار الجديدة داخل النخب المثقفة الاسلامية والعلمانية في تركيا وتونس المعاصرتين، وتبين اذا ما كان هناك فهم جديد للعلاقة بين الاسلام والحداثة وبين الشرق والغرب فضلا عن التصورات حول دور تركيا وتونس في مجريات الشؤون الدولية لا سيما فيما يتعلق بمنطقتي أوروبا والشرق الأوسط. إضافة إلى ذلك ستسعى الندوة الى فحص إمكانية بلورة فهم كوني بديل للثقافة والحضارة، كما ستعمل على خلق منتدى للنقاش بين المثقفين التونسيين والأتراك حول مختلف المسائل المطروحة وذلك برؤية تشجع على تلاقح الأفكار والنقاشات. اخيراً، ستوفر الندوة فضاء تبادل بين المفكرين الاسلاميين والعلمانيين وستسهل الفهم المشترك وبناء الجسور بينهم.

This one-day workshop, co-funded by the British Academy and the Middle East Centre of the London School of Economics, will bring together Turkish and Tunisian thinkers on the subject of culture and civilization in world politics. The event would want to question the rigid understanding of culture and civilization, which tends to pervade perceptions of their role in world affairs, and illustrate their fluidity and dynamic relationship with politics. It will aim to make a well-informed contribution to the current public debate on the role of culture and civilization in world affairs and build connections between the theoretical and practitioner spheres and between academia and the world of politics

To realise these objectives and make this contribution, the workshop will explore new ideas among Islamist and secular intellectuals in contemporary Turkey and Tunisia and enquire whether novel understandings exist of the relationship between Islam and modernity, East and West; and the role of Turkey and Tunisia in world political affairs, particularly in relation to Europe and the Middle East. It will investigate the possibility of alternative universalist understandings of culture and civilization. The event will aim to create a forum for a conversation between intellectuals from Turkey and Tunisia on these issues, with a view to encouraging cross-fertilisation of ideas and debate. It will also offer the space for debate between Islamist and secularist thinkers and facilitate understanding and bridge-building between the two. Simultaneous translation will be provided in English and Arabic
